Supporters of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim are planning a major fan march ahead of the Bundesliga home game against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. The event starts at 12:00 in Sinsheim's pedestrian zone and leads fans to the SNP Arena.

TSG Hoffenheim sits in 12th place with zero points from one game after an opening 2:3 loss to 1. FC Köln. With a goal difference of minus one and three points behind leaders Bayern Munich, the team aims to get points in the next match against the fifth-placed side. The match kicks off on September 5th at 15:30.

The organised march of Hoffenheim fans begins on Saturday at 12:00 noon. The meeting point is in Sinsheim's pedestrian zone. From there, supporters will walk together to the SNP Arena, the venue for the match against Borussia Dortmund. The fan representatives of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have given clear instructions for a smooth event.

They said: "Please keep the meeting point clean and throw your rubbish in the designated containers." In another statement, they emphasised: "Do not leave any rubbish on the way to the SNP Arena." These appeals aim to ensure the event is remembered positively.

All participants of the fan march must adhere to strict safety regulations. Glass containers are prohibited throughout the entire march. The Explosives Act must be strictly observed. Wearing masks is forbidden from the beginning to the end of the event and will be prosecuted by the police.

Fans are obliged to follow the instructions of the police and appointed stewards. These measures serve to protect everyone involved and aim to prevent violent clashes. TSG's current form with a loss in the first game increases the tension before the important home match.

TSG Hoffenheim goes into the encounter with a record of zero points from one match. The team suffered a 2:3 defeat to 1. FC Köln in the opener. Borussia Dortmund, meanwhile, started the season with a 2:0 win against Hamburger SV and currently occupies fifth place. The complete table can be viewed on our standings page.

A possible debutant for Hoffenheim could be Ethan Nwaneri. The Arsenal player may be used by Borussia Dortmund and could thus make his first appearance for TSG. On the other side, Giannis Konstantelias suffered a cruciate ligament tear on his debut, affecting the squad situation.

The home game against Borussia Dortmund is the second opportunity for Hoffenheim to collect points in this Bundesliga season. After the false start against Köln, the pressure has increased to achieve a positive result in front of their own fans. The upcoming fixtures in the calendar can be found in our fixtures overview.

The team of coach Pellegrino Matarazzo must appear more defensively solid after already conceding three goals in one game. The offense, however, showed potential with two goals against Köln. Detailed player statistics are available on the stats page.

The fan march on Saturday demonstrates the strong support of the supporters, regardless of the current table position. TSG 1899 Hoffenheim hosts Borussia Dortmund on September 5, 2026, at the SNP Arena.
