The members of TSG Hoffenheim have decided that André Kreuzwieser will be the new president. He won the election with 759 votes in the first round. Kreuzwieser is a former player of TSG and will now take over the club leadership. "I am overwhelmed by the support. I am aware of my responsibility," said Kreuzwieser. The new president wants to bring peace to the club and end the unrest around the club leadership. "It must be quiet again," he said. Before the election, there was also a sporting decision to announce: Sport-Geschäftsführer Andreas Schicker announced the first new signing for next season. From FC St. Gallen comes the Swiss striker Alessandro Vogt. The 21-year-old has already scored 14 goals in this season in the Swiss league. "Alessandro is a powerful, athletic striker with a strong goal instinct and a high finishing rate. We are convinced that he can take the next step with us and we are looking forward to the cooperation," said Schicker. With this, TSG continues to go the way of binding talented players early to the club. Sport is going well for the Kraichgauer as never before. After the near-abstention in the previous season, the team is currently surprisingly on course for the Champions League. A reason to finally bury the unrest around the club leadership, as Andreas Schicker emphasized in his speech: "It was not to be expected that we would have the best season in Hoffenheim's Bundesliga history after the difficult last year." The "puppet show in the club's environment" must therefore come to an end, because one can "write sports history and achieve great things," so Schicker.
